We are hiring for Senior System Administrator to work as part of a team of experts responsible for providing real-time IT support.
The ideal candidate should have a good technical knowledge of Networking fundamentals, Windows servers and their roles, Active Directory, Hyper-V, DHCP, DNS, Virtualization, MS Outlook, etc.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of IT support experience.
Prior Managed Services experience is a plus.
The candidate must be client-focused, comfortable interfacing with clients, and maintain a high level of service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to be prompt and courteous.
Should have knowledge of and experience with:
Microsoft Windows Server.
Microsoft Exchange.
Backup products.
Windows 10, 8, and 7.
Microsoft Office.
Office 365.
Disk imaging platforms.
VPN clients.
Registry settings.
Group Policy.
Anti-malware products.
Knowledge of OSI model.
Knowledge of ticketing systems (ConnectWise preferred).
Task Range
User management, including configuring new accounts, password resets, and troubleshooting user login, profile, and permission issues.
Active Directory administration.
Backup and Replication Monitoring and troubleshooting.
Security/Account Login Investigations.
Server and Workstation patching.
Citrix administration and support.
Install, upgrade, repair, and replace user workstations.
Network troubleshooting.
Print/Scan/Email Support and Troubleshooting.
Install, upgrade, and uninstall desktop applications.
Troubleshoot performance issues and issues with browsers and plug-ins.
Terminal services support.
Enterprise printing support and issue resolution.
Enterprise application support.
Working to identify and eliminate recurring problems.
Update documentation and diagrams when needed.
Send clients how-to's, FAQ.
Preferred Candidates
Candidates with Certifications like Cisco CCNA, Microsoft (MCITP, MCTS, MCP, MCSE), VMware, Citrix will be preferred.
The candidate with good typing speed.
Impressive analytical, verbal, and written business communication skills.
Should have a problem-solving instinct.
A sound academic background with good learning and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
Should be a team player working as a part of the tech support team.
Flexible with timings as per business requirements.
Escalation and follow-up with third-party vendors.
Able to present a “can-do” attitude to end-users.
Focused on client satisfaction and providing solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Very attentive and detail-oriented.
Ability to think critically and without supervision.
Prior managed services, outsourcing, or professional services experience is beneficial.
Relevant certifications are a plus.
Note: Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
