Job Summary:
At Omnify as a Full Stack Engineer, you will own one or more components of our web applications. The end users of the applications include both internal stakeholders as well as external clients on multi-time zones,different internet speed distribution. In addition, you will be working side-by-side with other engineers on architecture, integration, and maintenance of the applications in order to keep up with the world’s fast paced industry. You will work with talented and experienced teams of product managers, designers, and engineers, and have the unique opportunity to contribute to product design and system scalability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support
Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
Job Requirements:
Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for (1-6) years
In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 5 PHP Framework
Hands on experience with HTML, CSS,Jquery, REST API design etc
Knowledge about AWS is a plus
MySQL profiling and query optimization
Creative and efficient problem solver
