RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Co-ordinate the functioning of component, tool room, mechanical maintenance and electrical
departments.
2. Develop effective preventive maintenance system to reduce breakdown time and production
losses.
3. Continuous improvement in the functioning of all concerned departments so as to improve the
profitability of company.
4. Understanding the new jobs and technologies to meet requirements of marketing and to do
continuous development work to effect cost reduction by way of reduction in manpower and
better utilization of production facilities.
5. Performance review of the above mentioned departments.
6. Effective utilization of man, machine and materials.
7. Training on technical points to existing employees.
8. Introduction and implementation of process costing.
9. Analyze rejection and steps to be taken to avoid such rejection.
10. Submit Management Information System (MIS) report to the top management as per schedule.
11. Analyze break down trend and take remedial measures.
12. Troubleshooting of problems on technical matters.
13. Interact with customers on a regular basis regarding technical matters, improving quality as also
to ensure customer satisfaction, interaction with suppliers on quality, cost and delivery for
continual improvement.
14. Compliance of related requirements as per Food Safety Management System requirements.
15. Reply of customer complaints through quality assurance department.
16. Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
17. Expertise in component making.
18. Knowledge of metal can making process.
